After 14 years in IT I was made redundant from a corporate job and had some time to think about what I really wanted to do for a living.
That is how The River Kitchen was started.

Wait, let’s go back a bit.
I grew up on the west coast of Ireland in a restaurant and then a hotel. My mum was the chef and my dad was the front of house. We actually lived above the restaurant so I was surrounded by food and drink my entire childhood.
It was this upbringing that has inspired my love of food and drink to this day.
